Hi Gals!

I am sure you have come to know from my past reviews that I have oily acne prone skin. When I saw this purifying oil in oriflame catalogue that too on an offer I said to myself why not give it a try; atleast if it doesn’t work’ it won’t do any harm also like other acne creams.

How to apply tea tree oil

Tea Tree oil should be diluted before applying. However, this is already diluted. Take a drop of the oil on a cotton ball and apply directly to acne or blemishes.

My Experience with Oriflame Tea Tree Purifying Oil

Tea tree oil has been used in acne treatment for ages.  So whenever I feel acne is going to raise its ugly head, I apply it on that area and keep in for whole night. And voila the acne never comes out! :yippee:  Sometimes I mix a drop in my regular moisturizer; but don’t use more than a drop; a drop is even sufficient to cover your whole face. I also add few drops in my toner, face packs. The thing which I didn’t like it doesn’t work for stubborn acne and shows result on mild one and requires regular use (m too lazy   )

What I liked about Oriflame Tea Tree Purifying Oil

  • It has helped in lightening my acne marks.  :dance-left-right:
  • Helps prevent acne.
  • It helps in calming my skin, I feel a soothing sensation.
  •  You just need a drop so the bottle is going to last long

There is a dropper inside the bottle so that you don’t waste any product.

What I didn’t like about Oriflame Tea Tree Purifying Oil

  • Too much of it can irritate your skin; so use only once a day if you are aiming to curb any potential acne.
  • It will work only for mild acne.
  • You need to use it regularly for visible results (this might not be a con for everyone  😛 but for me   )

Ratings:

  • Effectiveness: 3.5/5
  • Packaging: 4.5/5
  • Availability: 3/5
  • Price vs. Quality: 3.5/5

Will I buy it again: Hmm may be if I finish this one 😛 and also have AM tea tree oil which I love more :inlove: I will totally recommend it to girls who have mild acne or also who wants to keep their skin clean by adding to scrubs, face packs.

  1. The bootle looks so cute! :-)) Am afraid this won’t work for me…just like the blemish solver pen :-(( But I really liked the wash n tone gel facewash. Have u tried that Tups?

    • hehe its cute na 😛 i tried d whole range..same lyk u d blemish solver was a dud 😐 but i really lyk tone gel facewash specially in winters..summers i feel its nt tht effective for my oily skin..summers toh i only trust lush farmacy cleanser :dance-left-right:

      • Well…u already know my experience with the blemish solver 🙂 The wash n tone gel is really nice…I like such multi-tasking products. Very refreshing fragrance and kept my skin oil-free :-))

  2. Yaaay! One acne product that works atleast on mild acne. if you get a chance do try using Franch Oil, its sooper effective.
And how different is this from the AM Tea Tree Oil? That’s supposed to be the concentrated version or something?

    • hey, ive heard about the franch oil from alotta ppl…is it that gud? in the beginnig i thought ppl were just kidding me by misspelling French 😉

      • Nahi nahi! It has worked on my dandruff pimples marks.. Has been lightening them.. They say its good for hairloss and taming down curly wavy hair as well.. do try it! one chotu bottle will last you atleast a couple of months. Do dilute it with coconut / olive oil if you plan to apply it on your hair..

    • franch oil..never heard of tht..will hunt it done 😀 dis is diluted version so u can directly use on ur acne but AM one is concentrated 100%..so u have to dilute in carrier oil or one drop in ur moisturiser. if u have stubborn acne lyk mine u will luv AM more :-))

      • Check out pharmacies or departmental store. They’ve revamped the packaging now, earlier it used to come in an old fashioned glass bottle, now it looks green and funky!
Mine is not the problem of Acne, its more of dandruff and the resultant pimples on the forehead, I guess they are a stubborn lot. I was checking out soul-flower range or something, they have tea tree as well..

  3. Oh u have already told it needs to b diluted can i use a drop on my nyt cream apply it and keep it overnite?
    Is one drop sufficient?

    • thanks indrani :-)) yup dear one drop is sufficient more den tht can irritate ur skin as AM one is 100% conc.. yup u can do tht one drop in ur nite cream..even i apply tht way

  4. i have this apart from using it on face i use it few drops in my hot oil massage. Tea tree is good against dandruff and rosemary acts as stimulant for hair growth. 🙂

  5. I had a lot of acne marks which have visibly reduced after regular usage of ‘Pure Nature Organic Tea Tree & Rosemary Purifying Blemish Solver’ from Oriflame. I have personally used this product and received great results. In a matter of 4 weeks, my acne marks have disappeared. A must try!
