  • Ingredients:-Talc, Aluminum starch octenylsuccinate, Kaolin, Octyldodecanol, Magnesium Carbonate, Zinc stearate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Imidazolidinyl urea, +/-: CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499
  • Quantity: 9 gms
  • Price: 249 INR (I got it for 179 )
  • Shades available:Oriflame Very Me Matte Light, Oriflmae Very me Matte Latte
  • Packaging:Doesn’t the packaging look super cute? The compact pan is housed in a clear plastic casing and the puff is visible through the lid. Frankly, it felt so fragile that I always carried it in a padded pouch. I had dropped it when I was in a tearing hurry and was pretty sure it had shattered to smithereens. I picked it up and was shocked to find that the powder hadn’t cracked. The lid had come off from its hinge but all I had to do was click it back into place and it was fine… Phew! But after some time the pan decided it has had enough and left home. I mean…the steel pan dislodged itself from the plastic casing! So this packaging is good for those who buy refills since they can easily stick it into the empty case 😛

The focal point of the packaging is the puff. It has a pink and white pattern that resembles fish scales. Not only does it look good it feels good too. It’s pretty thin but comfortable to use and feels so soft… just like suede. It picks up just the right amount of product and glides onto the skin.

There’s a thin plastic sheet between the puff and powder (right side of pic below). The compact doesn’t come in a carton and there’s a paper flap at the back which opens out to reveal the ingredients and product details in various languages.

My experience with Oriflame Very Me No Time For Shine Powder:-

The shade I picked is “Matte Light”. It looks pretty pale but thankfully has yellow undertones. My skintone is medium fair and as much as I layered this on it never gave me a white cast  The powder is tightly packed and I need to press a li’l hard to pick up the product but that’s fine. Perhaps this is why it never cracked after a fall and there seems to be no fallout. It evened out my blemished skin beautifully and made my pores look almost invisible. It looked like I’d worn a primer and the finish is flawless. But one thing it did not do was control shine. Skin looks matte when freshly applied but after just an hour my skin starts feeling oily. I don’t know it that’s just me coz I really have super-duper greasy skin. But the oiliness combined with the even finish of the compact gave me a nice glow so am not complaining too much 😀

What I like about Oriflame Very Me No Time For Shine Powder

  • Attractive packaging
  • Soft, easy-to-use puff
  • Does not give a white-cast
  • Powder is finely milled and tightly packed
  • Barely any fall-out
  • Flawless finish, pores look refined
  • Evens out skintone
  • Fragrance is very mild
  • Will suit all skin types
  • Available on discount

What I do not like about Oriflame Very Me No Time For Shine Powder:-

  • Packaging is not very sturdy
  • No SPF
  • Does not control shine for long
  • Only 2 shades available

In the pic below you can see how pale it looks when swatched. Within a few seconds I could see the swatch getting lighter and the powder just sinking into my skin. The pic on the right shows the blended powder. Doesn’t that look so natural and fresh? :lashes:

  2. I was pretty unsure of their shade selection too Shivangi. They usually have colors only for very fair europian skintone. But this thankfully worked for me 🙂

      • I have peach me in light. It’s sheer so u don’t have to worry too much bout the shade. But it’s the glitter that am trying to get comfortable with 🙁

          • It doesn’t look too shiny n it’s visible only up close…but it does reflect under bright lights. I’ve read many reviews on it but not many mentioned it ….so was a li’l surprised
