About Origins Checks And Balances Frothy Face Wash

When it comes to faces with dry and oily places, it takes a clever cleanser to balance the two. This gentle, frothy face wash carefully does both jobs without canceling each other out. Broad Leaf Kelp Extract discourages excess oil production, while Wheat Protein balances and protects dry prone zones. And Tourmaline actually makes water wetter to more easily disperse dirt and sebum down the drain. There’s also aromatic Bergamot, Spearmint and Lavender to add pleasure to the process. Skin feels comfortably refreshed after cleansing, never tight, pulled or parched.

Packaging: This face wash comes in a transparent tube and has a white colored plastic cap that screw opens. The packaging is decent and sturdy with all the necessary details mentioned on the tube. I have a 30ml small sized variant which easily sneaks in my hand bag and is absolutely travel friendly.

Texture: This face wash has a thick texture which lathers up really well.  It is a frothy face wash and yes it has some great froth.

Fragrance:  It smells of lavender and mint. The scent that it has is very subtle and not at all overpowering. So, sensitive noses will not be bothered with its scent.

My  Take: I have  combination oily skin and not all face wash do justice to my skin type. Either face wash do not work in keeping oil at bay or they dry out skin severely. But this face wash is more like a boon to me. I have been using this face wash since a month and I must say that this face wash stands by all its claim. It really balances and cleans my face. It is so much frothy that it almost gives a bubble bath feel to my face.

This is a fabulous face wash.  It calms my face and has never reacted adversely with my skin. It makes my skin smooth and leaves no dry patches.  I recently got one acne, but I suppose that it is because of the moisturizer that I have recently changed.

The texture is thick, but a little quantity is required for each usage, so even 30 ml size of this face wash lasts for decent duration. The packaging too is sturdy and travel friendly, but I would have preferred if it had a flip open cap rather than screw open cap.

Overall this is a great face wash to have and it is free from Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates. Though the company claims it to be for all skin types but with my usage experience, I would say it is best suited for combination and oily skin types. Probably if I get a sample of this face wash, I will send it to any of my team members who has dry skin, this will help us know how this face wash fares for dry skin and we will able to compare its performance on different skin types.
