If you have read some of the recipes here then you will realise that I am not a person who will spend hours in the kitchen. My recipe has to be quick and yes tasty of course.
So like always I am sharing with you my personal favourite Bread Paneer rolls recipe which I read in a newspaper.
Of course I changed things here and there as I always like to experiment but If you try this I am sure you will make it next time as well.It will take around 20-30 minutes to prepare the recipe and is a great appetizer if you have guest at home.
So here goes the recipe
200-250 gms crumbled paneer
1 small onion chopped
1 chopped green chilli
50gm or a small bunch of coriander leaves(depends upon how much you like using it in
Salt according to taste
1/2tsp chilli powder(according to taste)
1/2tsp coriander powder
1/4tsp cumin powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ inch shredded ginger
2tsp tomato ketchup(I used hot and chilli to make it spicy. If you have kids then use the regular one)
4-5 slices of bread(I used the all purpose flour one/Maida one and not the wheat flour one)
Step1-Take Paneer(Indian cheese) in a bowl and crumble it up.Add chopped onion and green chillies into it.
Step2-Add chopped coriander/cilantro and all the masalas.
Step3-Cut the corners/crust of all the breads.
Step4-Roll them thin (Use white bread because it is easy to roll them )
Step5– Place about 1 tsp or so of filling on one end of the rolled out bread slice.
Step6-Roll them nicely(You can watch the video for this)
Step7-Repeat the same process with all the rolls.
Step8-Wrap up the rolled bread slices with filling in a clean, damp kitchen towel.
Step9-Keep it aside for 10-15 minutes and then apply butter on all the roles.
Step10-Roast them in a pan for 3-4 minutes.(No need to add oil or butter in it as it is already coated)
Serve hot with ketchup.
Below is my first recipe video. It took lot of time but I hope you benefit from it.Also if you feel it requires some changes then do comment. Also if you think that post pictures is better than the video then also please do let me know.
