Party Makeup With Orange Dress (Indian) + Video
I am going to show you a simple party makeup look. I wore this look for my friend’s sangeet ceremony. This makeup will look good Indian as well as Western outfits. I have kept the eyes neutral with some shine. Lips are bold but not OTT.
The look is easy to create so lets get started-
Urban Decay eye primer– The first step is to apply primer on the eyes to let the eye makeup stay intact for long hours. I’m bored of this primer but I still haven’t come across any other primer that is this good. I would love to know your recommendations on which eye primer should I try next.
Coastal Scents Oatmeal Tan eyeshadow– I reach out to this eyeshadow often for blending. This one is a dupe of MAC Soft Brown. Apply this eye shadow in crease and blend till there are no harsh lines. Apply it in the outer corners as well.
Coastal Scents Light Taupe eyeshadow– This is matte brown that flatters all skin tones. This is a good dupe of MAC Charcoal Brown. Deepen crease and outer V with this pretty shade. This eyeshadow looks great with gold eyeshadow as well.
Coastal Scents Burnt Umber eyeshadow– Next take this matte deep berry eyeshadow. Apply it in outer corner and blend with the taupe eyeshadow. It defines eyes but doesn’t look too dark like a black eyeshadow.
Coastal Scents Hot Pot S36 eyeshadow– This one is a shimmery gold-brown with satin finish. This eyeshadow brightens up eyes. Such colors are perfect for brown skin. Apply it all over eye lid leaving the point of outer corner. Blend well.
Benefit Watts Up Highlighter– I use it often as it is the perfect toned down shade which gives decent sheen on Indian skin. Apply it on brow bone. It is creamy so I like to blend it with my finger.
Maybelline Colossal Kohl– This is the favorite kohl of Indian girls. Apply it on lower lash line and waterline. Use it to tight line your eyes as well. Blend lower lash line with a thin flat brush.
L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadow Endless Chocolate– Use it to top up the kohl on lower lash line. This will tone down the black and will also make your eyes look shiny.
Lotus Curved Eyeliner– Apply a thin line and give it a winged effect. This eyeliner is super easy to use.
The Body Shop brow kit– Fill your eyebrows with natural looking shades.
Falsies– The next step is to apply false eyelashes for those irresistible fluttering lashes.
Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara– This is my favorite mascara. Apply it on upper and lower lashes to finish the eye makeup.
I use my Ecotools eye enhancing duo set brushes for eye makeup. These are dual ended and come really handy.
MAC Studio fix fluid foundation NC 42– I used this foundation for medium coverage. Make sure to blend your foundation well.
L’Oreal Magic Lumi Highlighter– This one conceals the imperfections as well as makes skin glow. It blends beautifully into the skin.. I blend it with Real Techniques detailer brush.
Revlon gold matte touch and glow moisturising powder– Set your makeup with a compact powder. I used a powder that is one shade lighter than my skin tone to blend it with the highlighter.
Milani baked blush Corallina– This is a very beautiful orange coral blush.
MAC Matte Bronzer– I haven’t done any heavy contouring. Use the bronzer only on sides of nose to make it look chiseled.
Benefit Watts Up Highlighter– Now highlight your cheek bones, centre of forehead, cupid’s bow, bridge of nose and chin.
MAC Chilli lipstick– This red with orange hues suits all skin tones.
That’s it girls! I hope you liked this look and try it. Check out the video if you haven’t already seen it
