Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder

Hey all beauty geeks!!!脗聽 Hope all is well with everyone. After the color mismatch of Physicians Formula Super Cover CC powder, I was left disheartened. I really wanted the powder to work as it had more quantity of zinc oxide than any other drugstore powder. So, I again started my powder hunt. And as they say, you do get what you really want. I discovered this gem with the same amount of zinc oxide and a color close to my skin tone. Yipee!!! 馃檪

My take on Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder:

Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder is available in three shades – Translucent, Creamy Natural and Beige. I chose Beige as it seemed to be the closest match to my skin. The powder has an attractive pattern embossed. It looks like pretty waves. The powder does not have talc in it which is a good news for people with sensitive skin.

脗路脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽 Texture: The powder is finely milled and has a smooth texture to it. It does not have that powdery feel to it. In fact, the effect is a creamy one. The finish on the skin is definitely airbrushed and dewy.

脗路脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽 Pigmentation: The color of the powder does match my skin tone mostly. The coverage is medium but it does reduces the look of any pores on the skin and even attempts at covering unevenness. The best part is even after layering, it does not look cakey and gives the smoothest finish possible. I had to swipe multiple times to get the swatch and it still does not look bad. I do not have an after swatch as it completely blended into my skin.

脗路脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽 Staying Power: The powder claims to hold for 16 hours. It does stay long, however, it does not control oil 100%. My T-zone started shining after 3-4 hours.

脗路脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽脗聽 Packaging: The pressed powder comes in dual compartment compact in blue. The powder is in the upper section with a flip-top mirror. The bottom section has a brush provided for applying the powder. 脗聽It might be little difficult to use the brush for smooth application.

  • Natural airbrushed feel.
  • Does not make my face look powdery.
  • Can be layered for maximum coverage.
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and pores.
  • Can be worn alone or over the foundation.
  • Talc-free.

What I do not like about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Pressed Powder:

  • Face becomes a little oily after 3-4 hours.
