Products That I Used This Month
How are you all?
June has just come to an end and this brings to the exact midway of the year 2015. Time flies really quickly. I wish the summers too could go away this quick because the melting temperatures are really bothersome and irritating.
When I take about the hot & humid summers, this reminds me of the special skincare regime that needs to follow during these days. I have a combination oily skin type and these days call for some extra cautious skin care regime. Today I shall share with you all the skincare & hair care products that I used this month to keep my skin good.
Have a look.
Price: $18 for 40g (4*10g)
MULTI-MASKING was never easier than with this collection of four innovative peel-off masks from Boscia, the leader in botanical science. The medley includes a Green Tea Oil-Control Mask (0.35 oz), a Luminizing Black Mask (0.35 oz), a Bright White Mask (0.35 oz), and a Cool Blue Calming Mask (0.35oz). These four single-use masks work to mattify, purify, brighten, and calm skin for your most flawless complexion yet.
I have just reviewed these masks and it really is a hard deal to choose the best out these four variants. They are simply fabulous and just one sachet gives great results. These make skin feel rejuvenated, soft and supple but are expensive.
Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control moisturizer SPF 30
During summers I do not like to apply moisturiser and lathering SPF on the moisturizer makes my skin feel very heavy, as a result most of the time I feel like skipping moisturiser. But this is not the ideal solution as skipping makes moisturizer makes my skin feel dry. Thankfully I got the Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Moisturizer as this one works the best. This moisturizer is specifically formulated for acne-prone skin. It helps control shine and provides a matte finish. It can be worn under makeup as well. The SPF content gives more reasons to like this.
Coolway Smoothing Lotion
It is an all-in-one blow dry lotion for effortless smoothing and styling of hair.. Coolway’s Smoothing lotion leaves hair soft, smooth and frizz free. It has a lightweight formula that provides a medium hold while resisting humidity. Also it smoothens hair for all-day control and aids in styling. It has been good for my hair and I shall review it soon.
Price: INR 2100 for 50ml
I have already reviewed this cream sometime back. There was bit of product left so I decided to complete it and give break to Maracuja oil this month as it is soothing to my skin.
It works in plumping the skin and nourishes it intensively which results in a smoother skin after regular usage. This cream appears to be thicker in consistency but it gets absorbed very fast and doesn’t look greasy at all. This cream has anti-aging properties and so women who are 28+ years of age can easily give this cream a try.
I recently got this as a part of a duo cleansing set from Sephora, you can check it here. It has a runny consistency and is translucent in color. The exfoliating particles are not very evident when seen but when used the particles can definitely be left. It does not have any strong scents, so a good news for girls who like their skincare products sans any fragrance. It is a great face wash with mild exofliants and Superb is the write to describe about how good it is. Review of this is coming up soon.
Price: $200 for 1.7 oz. I got a 7ml (0.24 oz) sample
The cream appears to be creamy white in color and has water based light consistency. It is really a fabulous product but unfortunately it is finished now. This 7 ml sized variant lasted me for a month, which I find is decent enough.
Price:Â $18 for 10. 1 Oz
It has a light texture and is absorbed into the skin in a jiffy. Moreover, it moisturizes my skin well and leaves a long lasting effect. It has a very refreshing feel which my skin loves. It is an excellent product to be used in summers. Not just its effect but I also like the ease of usage. There is no hassle in using this, just carry the product with you and spray on you face whenever you desire. It gets easily absorbed into the skin. I usually use it post washing my face as a toner.
Price:Â $12.00 for 1.7 Oz. and $21.50 for 5 Oz.
This face wash has a thick texture which lathers up really well. It smells of lavender and mint. The scent that it has is very subtle and not at all overpowering. I have combination oily skin and not all face washes do justice to my skin type. Either the face washes do not work in keeping oil at bay or they dry out skin severely. But this face wash is more like a boon to me. I have been using this face wash since a month and I must say that this face wash stands by all its claims. It really balances and cleans my face. It is so much frothy that it almost gives a bubble bath feel to my face. I completely loved it.
Boscia Tsubaki Oil Infused Exfoliating Powder
It is a thorough yet gentle exfoliating powder that makes skin smoother and brighter. Tsubaki Oil-Infused Exfoliating Powder removes debris and oil from pores and skin’s surface while providing long-term deep-hydration and anti-aging benefits. The grains of this powder are dried and then coated in Tsubaki Oil.
You basically need to make a paste of it by mixing it with water and massage it onto skin. Once it gets activated with water, Tsubaki Oil is released to completely veil and treat the skin, creating a silky-smooth, brighter complexion. Review of this too is coming soon.
Avene Clean-AC Cleansing Cream
Price: $18 for 40 ml
This cleanser is designed to cleanse skin without over stripping. Skin is left feeling soothed, comforted and refreshingly clean. It is great for acne-prone skin that has suffered over drying due to acne treatment products.
It is quite a popular cleanser and I am sure most of you must already know about it, especially in case you are cleanser fan. I really like using this cleanser.
So these were the products that I used this month. Out of all these products Origins Frothy Face Wash and Avene Cleansing Cream happen to be my most favorite products out of all these products.
Have you used any of these products? What were your favorites for this month?
