Purely Pro Blush Universal

Hello all….

February has been a great month for me and I am just blushing. LOL. Naah!!! Not because it is the month of the Valentine but because of the beautiful blush I received in my Vellvette box.I love it so much that I just can’t get enough of it.

Since a long time I was contemplating to invest in a soft pink blush as I have one from ELF which is more of a pink with blue undertones and I wanted something on the subtle side. I always check out options at makeup counters but every time I postpon buying a blush because I am just not sure about the color.

Then came in my Vellvette box carrying a blush which I am going to review today for you guys. Hang on to know what is so good about this one.

I am going to review the blush called ‘Universal’ by Purely Pro Cosmetics. I got the sample size of 3.7gm(0.13Oz) from Vellvette team while the full sized product comes in a 0.18 Ounce pack.

Product: Purely Pro Blush Universal

Directions to Use: To apply, swirl your brush across the surface of the blush and then tap lightly to dust off the excess pigment. Lightly apply the blush from mid-cheek to temple, tracing the cheekbone for a contoured look. Else smile and apply it to the apples of your cheeks for a more youthful look. If you are not a blush user and don’t have a brush, don’t worry – your fingers, if used gently, can create an equally magical effect. Just make sure- you blend, blend, blend till you get the right amount of pigment.

Purely Pro Blush Universal Review Usage+blush color

Description: The blush comes in a special light texture which glides on smoothly and evenly. The sheer, natural ingredients formula light-weighted and highly pigmented providing the perfect mix to enhance the cheekbones and create contours.

Universal is a poppy shade of pink that lies like a true blush on your cheeks.

About Purely Pro Blush Universal:

The product comes in a silver colored hard plastic packaging with a screw on lid and the lid has a transparent part over the top for the product to be visible. I wish the lid was a flip type rather than a screw on type.

My experience with Purely Pro Blush Universal:

Like the description says, this shade Universal is a poppy pink but it is very subtle and much on the softer side. I also feel it has a peachy touch to it rather than a pink. The pigmentation is fairly good enough and can be altered depending on the amount of color you want on your cheeks.

Purely Pro Blush Universal Review Finger Swatch+make up

The texture is smooth and silky and is easily blendable with a brush but does need a bit of practice if you want to do it with your fingers. I really love how subtle it is for a pink blush and does provide a very natural flush of color to your cheeks if you don’t want to look very made up.

What I like about  Purely Pro Blush Universal:

  • The color is a big hit for me as I like subtle tones of blush
  • Light and smooth texture
  • Easily blendable
  • Fragrance-free
  • Gives a natural look
  • Would suit most of the Indian skin tones.

What I don’t like about Purely Pro Blush Universal:

  • Only that it could have come with a flip on cap
  • The price might be a con for some.

Rating: 4/5 (-1 for the price and lid type)

Would I recommend it to a friend: Yes.

Would I repurchase: I would like to try other shades as well from the range.

Have you tried Purely Pro Blush Universal?
