Maggi has been my all time favorite.I remember eating it every day after coming from my exams.It was kind of a exam giving treat.Best part is it is loved by all age group and there are en number of ways of making it.My husband asked me to post some maggi recipes before as he really liked the way I try different recipes of Maggi but some how I never got motivated(Ghar ki murgi daal barabar:D)..But when Jamol asked me I was up and ready to make it.It always is pleasure for me if some one asked me to do things for them even if it is a simple post.
When i made this vegetable maggi I packed it up and took and it for my parents who are not that fond of maggi.They weren’t interested in eating it but I asked them to just taste it.After tasting they both finished it all and asked me to prepare it again in the evening:)
Let me now come to the recipe rather then going on with my useless talks.I always thought that vegetable maggi won’t taste good as all the vegteables will eat away the masala and maggi wont be spicier.But I was wrong .If you add few ingredients more the taste of masala remains intact and it gets spicier and tastier.
Here goes my recipe Serves -3-4 Preparation-10 minutes Cooking -15 minutes Ingredients:-
2 pkg. Maggi noodles 1 small onion Chopped vegetables such as cabbage,carrot,capsicum,peas in which cabbage quanity should be the maximum 1 chopped tomato 1tsp Soya sauce Salt to taste 1 tsp Red chili powder a pinch Turmeric Chilli Flakes(optional) 1tbsp tsp oil
Method and preparation:-
Step1-Take a frying pan and add 1tbsp of oil in it.When oil gets hot add chopped onion and fry until golden brown..Then add tomatoes and fry it until the oil separates from the paste.
Step2-Now add chopped vegteables(I used only beans and cabbage) in the pan and fry them for 6-7 minutes or until they are nicely cooked.
Step3-Add red chili powder, turmeric, maggi masala powder,soyasauce, chilli flakes and salt as per taste
Step4- Fry the masale for 1 minutes, add three cups of water to the pan and boil for 2 minutes, then add two packets of maggi noodles in water.
Step5-Add some water if required during cooking of noodles and cover the lid of the pan.
You can garnish with chopped coriander if you want .Serve hot and to make it heavenly serve with french fries.
