There are things in this world which are easy, yet so tasty! One of them is this recipe for mince with spaghetti. I have used the recipe with chicken mince. However, you guys can totally substitute that with some Soya Keema (soya mince is available easily) or with some mutton mince. The recipe contains very little oil and loads of flavor, so try this out today! This recipe makes about 2-3 people happy, so if you want to cook more or less, plan accordingly.
Ingredients: 225 gram Spaghetti (which is half of a standard packet, However, substitute it with 200 grams of egg noodles if you are in a hurry) 2 teaspoon minced garlic or garlic paste 1 tablespoon olive oil 1½ tablespoon chopped parsley or oregano (or 1½ teaspoon dried parsley or oregano, or, 4 packs of that herb mix that comes with Dominos, Pizza Hut or other Pizza deliveries) ½ cup chopped onion 200 gram minced meat (if using soya mince, just use enough to make 200 grams in the end) 100 ml tomato puree (or 4 finely chopped tomatoes) 1 teaspoon Kashmiri mirch powder or Paprika ½ teaspoon pepper ½ teaspoon sugar 1 tablespoon vinegar ½ teaspoon cumin powder (jeerapowder) Salt to taste 1 cup steamed mixed chopped vegetables (mix capsicum, mushrooms, beans, cauliflowers, broccoli, etc.) to serve with Parmesan or regular cheese, to serve with (optional) Process: Prepare the sauce first. Heat a pan and add the oil in it. When the oil heats, add garlic, stir around, and then add the onions and the sugar. Stir fry the onions for a few minutes, until they are soft, and then add the mince. Cook over high heat, breaking down the mince to small pieces, not letting lumps form. Then, add the tomato puree or tomatoes, the vinegar, pepper, Kashmiri mirch powder or paprika, parsley or oregano, cumin, and stir thoroughly. Add 2/3rd cup water, cover, and let simmer for 20 minutes, or until the sauce is thick and cooked. Let sit for an hour before using. That will help the flavors to meld perfectly.   When serving, boil the Spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package directions. Once done, drain off all but 1/3rd cup water from it. Heat the sauce, and pour the spaghetti in it. Stir thoroughly, adjust salt and serve immediately with some steamed vegetables on the side.  You can also shave some Parmesan cheese on top, or grate some regular cheese on top to enhance flavors.
