Recipe of Instant spicy Peanut sauce (Indian version)

This recipe is quick and healthy and is quite famous in Vietnam. Of course being an Indian I have to make it little spicier and therefore I came out with my version by adding red chilli in it. The best thing about this sauce is that it can be made within minutes. You can serve it along with main course dishes or you may just simply use it as a salad dip.


4tbsp peanuts (Roasted and peeled)
1tbsp roasted Til (Sesame seeds)
½ cup water
1tsp sugar
1tsp chopped garlic
2-3 dried red chili
Salt (According to taste)


1. In a grinder add peanuts, garlic, sesame seeds ,salt and grind it to a thick consistency.
2. Take a pan and add ½ cup water into it.
3. When boiled add 1 tsp. of sugar in it .Wait for the sugar to get dissolved into the water.
4. Now add the paste into the water and keep stirring till it gets thick.

Your spicy peanut sauce is ready to be served.

Serve it with spring rolls or with shredded carrot and radish as a side dish.
