Rs. 255 and 245 respectively for the Rev Ayur  foot scrub and cream in a 200gm TUB.
You can tell a lot about someone from their feet. Neat, manicured feet show that we care about ourselves and strive to maintain cleanliness and hygiene. Bad unkempt feet show a careless and untidy person. Even if you wear the most beautiful pair of shoes, there may be a time when you have to take the shoes off and your bare feet should be a visual treat or else ‘YOU’ can be quite a turn off.
It was by chance that I came across this foot cream, scrub and crack healing cream by RevAyur at ‘The Beauty Shop’ in Kandivali (Mumbai). “No harm in trying it out!â€. Well 4 months later here is my review on all 3.
Rev Ayur Foot Scrub
The ingredients of the foot scrub are as follows : Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Mineral Oil, Light Liquid Parrafin, GMS, Glycerin, Triethanolamine (surfacant), Span 60, EGMS, BHT, Petroleum Jelly, Pumice Stone Granules, Methyl and Propyl Paraben.
The Ayurvedic ingredients are as follows: Camphor, Lemon Juice and Lavender Oil
Ok a little bout Pumice and Lavender the key ingredients in this fab scrub.
-  Pumice is a kind of grey stone from a volcano and is very light in weight. It can be rubbed over skin to exfoliate dead skin and debris making your skin clean, soft and smooth. Often times we do not pronounce the word Pumice correctly. I will break the word into two syllables 1. take the PUM from the word ‘Pum’p and IS from m‘is’s. So you get PUM~IS.
Not PU from the word purify.
- Lavender is a garden plant with sweet-smelling bluish-puple flowers. The essential oil of the lavender flower has antiseptic and antifungal properties among other properties like the ability to remove tension, relieve pain, disinfect the scalp, enhance blood circulation and treat respiratory conditions.
When I use the foot scrub I feel like I’m exfoliating my foot with pumice butter. Feels totally like some expensive spa product. It smells wonderful exactly like Yardley’s lavender talc.  It contains pumice granules and lavender. Its extremely gentle and it can be used on both normal and dry skin. It is good enough to use every 3 to 4 days to revitalise, hydrate and soothe tired feet. Use it while in the shower or while doing a home pedicure by massaging all over your feet, ankles and a bit above the ankles if those areas too are exposed to environmental pollution. Wash off and apply your regular moisturiser or the RevAyur Foot Cream.
Rev Ayur Foot Cream Review
The ingredients are as follows : Stearic Acid, Cetyl Alcohol, Light Liquid Parrafin, GMS, Glycerin, Proplene Glycol, Triethanolamine (surfacant), Span 60, Petroleum Jelly, Methyl and Propyl Paraben, Sodium Benzoate and artificial colour.
The Ayurvedic ingredients are as follows: Aloe Vera Juice, Coriander, Tulsi and Lavender Oil
It is a rich cream without a hint of oiliness. It goes on luxuriously and mattifies once it totally seeps in. The smell is lovely and stays on for quite sometime. Your feet will smell nice.  I think it’s excellent to use during humidity and especially for feet that sweat extra. I have normal skin so it leaves my skin quite hydrated and comfortable. Dry skinned people may find it a tad dry. You can’t really use it for like a long massage because it seeps into the skin quite fast. Use it after a bath or a pedicure, it will repair and rejuvenate tired and sore skin.
I personally use it for my hands too cause I do my manicure at home and it works just fine. Overall both are a good buy. I would highly recommend the scrub but the cream only if you have normal to oily skin.
You can find both products in 100gm tubes too. Scrub for Rs. 185 and cream for Rs. 165. They are easily availiable in your local stores as well as online.
Rev Ayur Crack Healing Cream Review
The next product that they have for feet is RevAyur Crack Healing Cream. It is availiable both in a 200 gm tub and in a 75gm tube, costing Rs. 295 and Rs. 125 respectively.
The ingredients are Lactic Acid, Olive Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Allantoin, Urea , Tea Tree Oil and Menthol
It is a thick cream with allontoin (anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant properties) and lactic acid (milk acid) meant specially for chapped and cracked heels that mainly occur due to climatic conditions. It heals, tones and provides moisture to your feet along with deoderizing them, making them feel soft and pampered. The plus point in all of these products is the presence of natual plant extracts that actually accelerate the regeneration of skin cells thus renewing its texture. Use it daily after you wash your feet before bed. Ideal for dry skin. Those with sweaty feet may have a love hate relationship with this cream.
Happy feet to you all 🙂
