I have never had any Revlon products but I know that are high quality products and they were pioneers in the beauty industry. Did you know that Revlon was the first International Colour Cosmetics brand to be launched in India? Even today they continue to introduce new products and colour trends keeping in mind the preferences of the ‘Indian’ consumer.
I was on the look out for an eyeliner after my bad experience with that dud ‘Maybelline Studio Liquid Eyeliner’. I finally settled on this beauty ‘ Blackest Black’ from Revlon and used up all my ‘Lifestyle’ Reward points to get it.
Swatches Of Revlon Colorstay One Stroke Defining & Sparkling Eyenliner Blackest Black
In the picture of the eye I used one stroke for the entire drawing…the soft black colour comes by just barely touching the pencil to the skin so u can imagine the pigmentation and you can get both a dark / light effect.
It has a silicone gel structure formula that enables the liner to go on smoothly just like a liquid eyeliner. I love this pencil for it’s beautiful vivid black colour. It glides onto the eye without tugging and delivers super pigmented colour in just ‘ONE STROKE’. Just like it claims, I was able to use it in the inner rim of the eye because the point of the pencil is so soft and gives an incredible pigment of colour with the slightest touch. It did’nt sting my eyes and I applied it yesterday and also this morning.
The staying power is amazing and it’s totally smudge and water proof on my super oily lids. As for the ‘Blackest Black‘ swatch well I tried to take it off with the ‘Body Shop’ cucumber cleansing milk’ on the left and Chambor’ Eye & Lip Makeup Remover‘ on the right. The cleansing milk did a far better job.
As for the colour swatches, I put them on at 3:45 pm and took 1 of them off at 9 30 pm. The 3 other colours in this range also go on smoothly and deliver very pigmented vivid colour.
This is one product that delivers what it promises… I will stick to this one for life.

What I don’t  like about Revlon ColorStay – One Stroke Defining Eyeliner
- I’d like to say price 🙁
Revlon ColorStay Sparkling Eyeliner
Price:Â Â Rs. 470
While I was buying the blackest black eyeliner I also had a chance to check out their Revlon SPARKLING eyeliner collection. Shades availiable are:
I loved the application. Again soft and smooth. Vivid colours at one go. Mauve needed 2 layers to deliver a nice hue. Their ‘smokey black’ pencil sans sparkle, is made for a smokey eye and should be smudged as soon as you apply it to get the desired effect. There is no fall out with the sparkle and it stays put until you say so. I removed it easily with a dual phase eye makeup remover.
This picture was taken 8 hours later. I took off one colour to see how well it comes off and it did with one swipe.  Look at how beautifully vivid the swatches still are …
What I like about Revlon ColorStay Sparkling Eyeliner:-

- 5 Beautiful colours
- 1 colour for a smokey look
What I don’t like about Revlon ColorStay Sparkling Eyeliner:-
