My experience with Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick:

This is like my umpteenth Revlon product ,let’s face it we all love Revlon products. Nowadays there’s a special craze for lip stains all over , and so many different brands are coming forward with such liptints /lipbalms/balmstains/lip stains . I was so tempted and, they were like written about on everywhere in every fashion and lifestyle website and in the left or right advertisement bars on so many different websites just had to buy to and see for myself how it actually is.

I am always more inclined towards pink, so I decided to give the pink shade a try. It’s called “LOVESICK/PASSIONAÉE”. The color is a delicious pink and has a cool mint scent and it does really taste minty too with a cooling effect on the lips.. Now coming to the color, it’s a rich pink with slight bluish undertones and moisturizes your lips thoroughly. It leaves a healthy sheen that gives a luscious finish overall. Those pink is such that it wouldn’t suit Indian skin tone too much, and more so if one has pigmented lips.

The packaging is very cute with pink EVERYTHING which I like a lot ..ha-ha!! But since more like a tinted moisturizing lip balm, the stay isn’t so good, although the pink stain remains even of the moisturizing effect disappears, And for people having dry lips could end up with flaky finish.

What I like about Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick:

  • Moisturizes lips
  • Color payoff is good.
  • Retractable packaging, so no wastage due to sharpening.
  • Color stain stays for long enough
  • Cooling effect, minty scent 😀

What I don’t like about Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Lovesick:

  • Might not suit too dry lips.
  • Exfoliation prior to application is required to avoid flaky lip stain.
  • No SPF.
  • So friggin’ expensive
  • I don’t like the bluish undertones

Final Verdict: Yes every product has its cons..so is this one too. Its overall a good product ,but something about the color is just not harmonizing the dissonance within me.. everything else about this product I love so much, the moisturizing ,the minty cool effect on lips, the packaging ,etc.. But however I’ll take my chances and go for another shade and see how that one goes down for me.

Rating: 4/5

Hope you find this helpful.

See you all next time people..Ciao. 😀 😀
