Hey all beauty geeks!!! Today I am going to review Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder in Natural Light. I picked this product on my last Diwali trip. Though I could not find this on Revlon counters, local beauty stores do keep this beauty. I did not need any more highlighters in my life; but one swatch of this powder was beautiful enough for me to grab this. Lets find out did the first impression changed into more love. 🙂

My take on Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder in Natural Light:
Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder comes in five different shades for different skin tones. I picked up the lightest one in the range – Natural Light as I like my highlighters to be slightly visible and not very subtle. Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder in Natural Light is a shimmery pale pink highlighter with subtle beige undertones. Though at the first glance, it looks like it is very light for my skin tone. But this powder gives an amazing and very natural glow. Just one swipe of this transforms my face. This highlight will suit diverse skin tones, from very fair to tan. However, it might look unnatural on very deep skin tones.
Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder in Natural Light is not a setting powder or a face powder. It is a highlighter powder that should be used only on the places where you want to highlight – cheekbones, bridge and tip of the nose, brow bone and cupid’s bow and even as an inner corner highlighter on your eyes.
I also love mixing it in my body lotion to get a beautiful glow on the legs and shoulders. Definitely a very versatile product!!!
Texture: Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder in Natural Light has a very fine and smooth texture. Blends very easily and does not emphasize any pores. Now girls, it is very hard to find a highlighter that does not emphasize your pores. I love the creamy texture of the powder.
Pigmentation: Intense pigmentation. You only need a very small amount. In fact, you also need to tap your brush once you pick up the powder. And even with that little bit powder, it gives the most beautiful glow. For special occasions, I apply twice on the cheekbones to pop them out more. 😉
Staying Power: Easily lasts on my combination skin for 6-7 hours. And does not make the skin look oily.
Packaging: Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder in Natural Light comes in a huge jar which will last your entire lifetime. It has a sifter lid and a little brush which is housed in another compartment on the top. The brush has soft bristles and can be used at times. The only thing is that the sifter has huge holes and lot of powder gets through them.
What I love about Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder in Natural Light:
- Gives an unbelievable natural glow .
- Not at all frosty.
- Does not have sparkle or glitter.
- Does not emphasize any pores.
- Easily blends into the skin.
- Finely milled texture.
- Very smooth finish.
- Good staying power.
- Awesome pigmentation.
- Multitasking product.
- Excellent quality for the price.
- Will look good on almost every skin tone, except very deep.
What I do not love about Revlon Skinlights Face Illuminator Loose Powder in Natural Light:
- Huge and inconvenient packaging.
- Very easy to go overboard.
- Not very widely available.
Final Impression: I looooove this highlighter– it does not emphasize any pores and gives a natural and pretty glow to the face. If you drool over highlighters, you NEED this in your kit. Except deeper skin tones, girls go out and grab this wherever you can find it. Very highly recommended!!!
