Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick 660 In love with Ginger

Hello my gorgeous ladies,

Hope you all are doing great.

As you know orange is the new black, (mmm..though my love for black is non-replaceable). Women on the runaways to the streets in front of your house, they are going crazy about everything orangey and with summers, the peppy orange becomes even more favorite. And thus, I am here with a review on an orange colored lipstick from Rimmel.

It is Rimmel Moisture Renew – In love with Ginger 660

Packaging:- Nothing fancy. The lipstick comes in a simple purple color casing. The cap closes with a reassuring click. Shade name number written at base. Simple and no fuss packaging.

Shade:- It is a vibrant orangey red. The shade is not too red and not too orange either, just a perfect and balanced blend of both. It is a striking orangey red in the night, but is also subtle and gorgeous enough to wear during daytime.

Texture:- It is creamy and has a gorgeous glossy sheen. Lovely hydrating creamy texture and keeps lips moisturized for really long. Due to its sheer color and glossy sheen it makes your lips look plumper. The disadvantage of being so creamy is that it bleeds and starts vanishing from the center of the lips.

Pigmentation:- Well pigmented and gives an opaque coverage in a single swipe.

Staying Power:- It stays around 1 and half hour on me without meals and drink, after which it starts vanishing from the center.

Summing up my “LIKES” and “DISLIKES”

What I like about Rimmel Moisture Renew 660 In love with Ginger:

  • Peppy shade of orange.
  • A rich emollient texture.
  • Soft, luxurious, hydrating formula.
  • Results in beautifully moisturized lips.
  • Color glides on with ease.
  • Well pigmented.
  • Contains SPF 20.
  • Doesn’t settle into fine lines.
  • No disturbing fragrances.
  • Decent packaging.

What I don’t like about Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick 660 In love with Ginger 660:

  • The bullet is extremely soft and can melt in summers.
  • Fades unevenly.
  • Fades super quickly.
  • Not availability in India.

Final Thoughts:- Orange has been a big trend color, and I just fell in love with this shade. It is a very fun shade to wear, creamy supple texture, moisturizing, light weighing, non messy, non-sticky, and most importantly, provides sun protection. I wish the staying power was better, it is terrible.

Recommendations? No; and just because the poor staying power. It is not a good feeling to spend on a lipstick with such bad staying power.

Rating:- 3/5
