I am doing the last leg of preparations for the biggest Festival next week i.e. Diwali. And for that I decided this time to visit one of the shopping haven in Delhi where you can get a lot of decorative items, clothes, jewellery and everything that we women love to buy & flaunt during the festive season. So, this time I went on a shopping spree at Sadar Bazar Delhi which is also one of the biggest wholesale markets here in Delhi and I would surely suggest you all to check it out if you are an obsessive shopaholic like me! 😉
Delhi is already famous for Janpath, Sarojini Market, Lajpat Nagar Market, Palika Bazar, Delhi Haat, Hauz Khas etc. And Sadar Bazar is surely one must visit shopping destination as well.
How To Reach?
First things first, I will tell you how you can reach this place. You can easily reach Sadar Bazar by Metro and Chandni Chowk is the nearest metro station from this place so figure out the metro route from your place of origin. The nearest station is Kashmere Gate ISBT.

Sadar Bazar is a busy market and you need to be prepared to face the crowd especially if you are planning to shop for festivals like Diwali. Also, diwali is all about festive shopping, eating great delicacies and having loads of fun. I had great fun while I was in Sadar Bazar for shopping and I bought so many things from there. If you are someone who loves street jewellery, you must visit this place for the wholesale rate of products. There are decorative items, jewellery, craft items, toys, gifting items and so many more things which is not possible to pin point them all here! 😀

From flowers strings to paper lanterns, you can get everything here at one place. The vandanvaar which is placed at the entrance of the house in Diwali is also available on almost all Diwali decor shops.
I loved the fact that it had so many shops which had accessories for women and you will be confused like anything, because every piece you see, looks tempting and you wish to buy everything. :-p
