In my struggle to repair my dry feet and cracked heels, I recently bought this ‘crème reparatrice’ aka foot repair cream from the Scholl’s kiosk at my local mall. I paid €6,50 for this 75 ml tube. It claims that it intensely nourishes and regenerates dry, dehydrated skin on the feet.

Here’s a list of its ingredients:

Aqua, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, paraffinum liquidum, cetyl palmitate, dimethicone, propylene glycol, glyceryl stearate SE, theobroma cacao, panthenol, cetearyl alcohol, parfum, lauric acid, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, methylparaben, imidazolidinylurea, aloe barbadensis, potassium hydroxide, tocopheryl acetate, propylparaben, palmitic acid, alpha-isomethyl ionone, benzyl benzoate, benzyl salicylate, butylphenyl methylpropional, citronellol, coumarin, geraniol, hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde, limonene, linalool, Cl47005, Cl15510.

And here’s a swatch of the cream:

I began using this foot cream two weeks ago. Here’s the method I follow: after my shower, I dry my feet gently with a towel and massage this cream all over them, focussing on my heels. Also, if I’m not going anywhere, I also put on a pair of socks for some time for extra absorption of the cream.

I noticed an immediate difference after 2-3 days of using this cream Рmy dry and rough feet became softer. And after two weeks of use, I can definitely say that my feet are no longer dry and rough. The rough, flaking skin on my heels has not completely disappeared, but for that I think I will need to scrub with a good pumice stone. Otherwise, I think the Scholl cr̬me reparatrice has done a great job.

Here’s what I like about Scholl Crème Reparatrice For Dry Feet-

  •  It does not have a very strong smell
  •  It moisturizes my feet without leaving them overly greasy
  •  It has eliminated all the dryness of my feet
  •  It is dermatologically tested
  •  I think it will last me at least two months – even after using it for two weeks, I still have a lot of cream left

Here’s what I don’t like about Scholl Crème Reparatrice For Dry Feet:-

  • It did not eliminate the rough skin on my heels completely

Overall, I think this an excellent foot cream and I will definitely repurchase it when I run out. I’m now on the lookout for a pumice stone/foot file to go with it that will take care of those last bits of rough skin.
