What can be better than a day out with all your closest friends???!!Shopping, mani-peds, coffee, gossip and what not!! It is the most therapeutic rituals of all time!

We all decided to have a fun packed day which started off with shopping and coffee at Promenade and Emporio and ended with dinner at Hauz Khas village.

With a gaggle of five highly excitable females, burdened with shopping bags, changing clothes is not really an option! So I put together a look that could last me the entire day (and half the night too!).

It’s simple, chic and comfortable.

Firstly, dump the jeans! It is way too humid too wear skinny jeans. Opt for a cool pair of shorts! I love these tiny ones I had picked up from Zara. Ripped, distressed denim! Always a favourite! These kinds of shorts/ jeans always tone down your outfit and keep it from looking too dressy (and they also add a rock star edge to it)!

Too hot for anything with sleeves! Paired up the shorts with an amazing buy that I picked up from Bandra market during my time in Mumbai. Love the slight halter cut and the petite Peter Pan collar!

This collar neckpiece I picked up from an online shopping, site sets off the collar of the top beautifully! You can totally pair collared shirts with these collar necklaces! Just be sure to pair them up right so that they complement each other!

The bag! Slung on a beautiful faux crocodile skin bag from Benetton (gifted to be by my awesome sister!). Go for slinky slings! I’m talking patent leather, chains, bling, you know, the works!

If you don’t own a pair of two-tone shoes, I suggest you go out right now and buy them! These are a pair of must haves for every shoe closet!!!! I love these ones that I picked up at catwalk. They go with everything! Subtle enough for office and trendy enough to be paired up with like a gazillion outfits!

I kept my hair swept up into a fuss-free bun on the top. A thin line of eyeliner, a dab of blush and don’t forget the lips! For a bit of colour, I went for a matt coral shade I picked up at Deborah.

Perfect look for a day and night out with the girlies! A super fun and super stylish day!!
