During a recent sale, the Sigma official website had an offer of free shipping which I took advantage of, without any second thoughts! (I feel their shipping rates are high) They even include a gift above orders of $30. After reading a lot about their brushes, I ordered a brush and an eye shadow. I had to do a lot of browsing before choosing an eye shadow shade. But the moment I saw Triomphe, I knew I had to get it!
Although, when I received my order, the eye shadow was in a completely shattered state :-(. I wrote to their customer care and the promised to send me a replacement (I was quite impressed with prompt replies and promising to help)

My Experience with Sigma Beauty Individual Eye Shadow Triomphe:
Starting with the packaging, the Sigma eye shadows come in a simple round pot with the brand insignia on top written in silver. The packaging is quite rich looking and is sturdy. The top/lid is transparent so if you own several Sigma eye shadows, there will be no difficulty in locating shades.
Coming to the shade, Triomphe is a duo-chrome colour with brown base and blue-green shimmer. I love how it can be worn both during the day and night. During the day, it appears to be very light shade with subtle shimmer. But at night, when light falls on it, it appears very bright and shimmery!
On application, there was no fallout and the colour payoff is amazing, making me love it even more.
The texture is way too soft and buttery so much that my piece reached me crushed into pieces. When I tried putting it back, it crumbled under the lightest force. So make sure yours doesn’t fall or else it will surely break. On application, it is smooth and blends very easily on the lids.
The pigmentation is good and the shimmer is not at all gritty or chunky. I wore the eye shadow without any primer and it stayed for 5 hours after which it faded. I am sure it will last longer with a primer underneath. I love having eye shadows that are versatile and this is one of them. And personally, I wear it mostly during the days. A single wash simply adds shine on my eye lids which looks quite pretty!
What I like about Sigma Beauty Individual Eye Shadow Triomphe :
- Smooth Texture
- Blends evenly and easily
- Doesn’t look too bold even during the day (I love such eye shadows)
- Shimmer is not chunky or gritty
- No fallout on application
- Staying power is adequate
What I like about Sigma Beauty Individual Eye Shadow Triomphe:
- It takes a little more product to be visible on my eyelids. This is probably because I have veins visible on my lids and since the base of the eye shadow is brown, it takes a little more effort.
I have seen quite a few pictures of MAC blue brown pigment and a similar shade from the Wet and Wild Comfort Zone palette. I don’t own any, so I cannot surely say. But I have searching a dupe and I think I have come close.
As for recommendation, Yes! I do recommend it as this particular colour will surely suit beauties with any complexion.
