Six Colored Eye Pencils Under 250
As we are moving towards a global makeup space, have you noticed how prices of normal eye pencils are growing drastically? I have noted the price of many, and I have to say I am shocked at the shameless way makeup companies are raising prices of their products. This post is a rebellion against that, and let me present five colored eye pencils, which, in today’s day and age, costs below INR 250/-.
Rimmel London Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencils –
For the price of 145/- per piece, the brand Rimmel kicks off this super-six showdown, where I find the kohl colors to be versatile, and very useful. They settle down quite easily on my eyelids and do not smudge very much. Although they are not too long staying, they are quite good for the price. The color payoff is also very good. The white, sable brown and denim blue are my picks from this range. Right now, these are available at Slassy.com online.
The cheap dupes of NYX jumbo eye pencils, there are four colors available in the range – green, blue, pink-purple and grey, at 85/- for 1.5 gm., these are excellently priced. However, be prepared to let your sparkler smudge, as these are not very good at staying. But they can be used as an eye shadow base, if you have dry lids. On oily lids, this would definitely smudge. I personally love the grey.
Kryolan Ikonic Eye Pencils – these are definitely the ones you should pick up if you have a store nearby. At 180/- per piece, these are longest lasting in the range and the color payoff is very good. Love the color purple among all here, but must say – virtually all the colors are amazing in this range.
Avon Glimmersticks – although they are priced higher, truthfully speaking, every other month Avon sells them for around 150-190/- for 0.28 gm, and these are the best stick-up pencils at the price. Absolutely love smoky diamond and emerald glow, as well as textured teal from this range. Check them out, they are really very well-priced.
Max Factor Kohl Eye Pencils – at 220/- for 1.15 gm, these are a bargain. I have reviewed these before, and they are my absolute favorites. They come in a good number of colors, and I specially recommend the electric blue and dark blue, and they are amazing not just as kohls but also as primers.
Maybelline Eyestudio Vivid and Smooth Eye Pencils – one brand which is more or less available everywhere, Maybelline Vivid and Smooth eye pencils are cheap at 215/- for 1 gm. For fair skin, Peacock green is a color worth exploring. Personally I love Violet pearl and Forest Green too. Although staying power is not over 4 hours or so, these are great value for money products.
So there you have it! Six colors under 250/- … I did not include several here, but I decided to let you guys tell me your pick of colored eye pencil under 250/- or, maybe, over 250/- . One that immediately comes to mind is Bourjois Khol and Contour at 260/- and Colorbar I-glides, but they are more expensive, and thus, not to be added here.
