So finally I am here with the review of Sleek Makeup Blemish Balm that Ana sent me. I got two products and it was my first tryst with Sleek Makeup. Now, let me get into the details about this BB cream.

Packaging: The Sleek BB cream comes in a black outer carton which I didn’t get so can’t show you that. It has ingredients list on it. The product is housed in a black tube with a flip top cap. The packaging is classy and sturdy.
Shade and Texture: The shade I got is Medium 803 which is at least two tones darker than my actual complexion. It is darker than my The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream which was already a little dark for me.
The shade seems to be on cooler side. The texture is thin but not runny. The cream blends quickly. The fragrance is weird but does not linger thankfully.
My Experience with Sleek Makeup Be Beautiful Blemish Balm Medium:
As I said that the shade is dark and so when I wear it, I look like I have wandered all day under sun without SPF 😛 I tried mixing this Lakme CC cream in the lighter shade to use this and I need one part of this one mixed with two parts of Lakme CC. I am really amazed that such a dark shade has been placed in medium category.
The good part is that this cream gives very good coverage. It gives medium coverage in one layer and a second layer makes skin flawless. You will not need a concealer with this unless you have really dark spots. This cream covers all brown and red spots on face.
Sleek Makeup Be Beautiful Blemish Balm blends easily into the skin. It is somewhat moisturizing and makes my skin look dewy and then oily within 30 minutes. It may not be the perfect hydration for dry skin too but some moisturization will make it work easily. This cream will be best suited for normal skin and will be good for combination skin as well.
It has SPF 15 which is a plus but yes it also contains vitamin C which makes skin more prone to sun damage. I think that it is not sufficient to protect skin from sun and you will need a sunscreen underneath.
This BB also claims to prevent wrinkles but I cannot comment on that.
I would say that the dark shade and dewy finish is not for me.
What I like about Sleek Makeup Be Beautiful Blemish Balm Medium:
- Full coverage blemish balm which justifies its name
- Easy to blend
- Classy packaging
What I don’t like about Sleek Makeup Be Beautiful Blemish Balm Medium:
- Shade Medium is too dark
- Not matte
- Insufficient SPF if you like BB with SPF
- Smell is not good
Do I recommend? If you find the right shade and your skin is normal to dry or combination.
