Star Looks Ultra Matte Longwear Lip Stix Dragon Fruit
Hello gorgeous ladies,
How are you all?
Pink is every girls close makeup buddy. Paint your lips pink and look chic with minimal efforts. I received a gorgeous bright rose pink lipstick in my lip monthly bag. It is a new launch by Star Looks. I initially thought that it was a lip liner but later I realized that it actually is a lipstick in a very sleek pencil like form.
It has an absolute matte finish. Dig in to know more.

My Experience with Star Looks Ultra Matte Longwear Lip Stix Dragon Fruit-
Packaging: This lipstick came in a cellophane clear packet and has a sleek pencil like packaging. The body of the pencil is black with a color coded tail and has a black plastic cap that shuts firmly. The packaging makes the product look like a lip liner; however it is actually a lipstick.
I really wished that it worked with a retractable mechanism. But sadly it needs to be sharpened. I received the half size of this product and sharpening it is really painful as it wastes a lot of product.
Texture: It has a very smooth texture. The lipstick glides on like a dream and feels very light weight. It settles to an absolute matte finish later, but on application it feels very creamy.
It goes opaque in a single swipe.
Staying Power & Tips: The lipstick stays on for more than 4 hours on my lips with snacks and drinks. It won’t survive meals and after a meal there is a definite need of touch up. Never overlap a touch up, rather apply a fresh coat after removing the earlier coat, or less you shall have uneven patchy lip color. It leaves a slight stain once it fades.
It does not transfer much and does not budge at all after application.
If applied directly on lips with pencil, it results in uneven application due to the concentrated tip and good color pay off. I prefer applying this with a lip brush. With the lip brush the color spreads and looks fabulous despite of the super matte finish. Dry lips should exfoliate lips before application as it may accentuate flaky lips.
