Sunsilk Natural Recharge’ Shampoo and Conditioner Review – The purpose of a shampoo is to remove the unwanted build up in our scalp and hair without stripping out the sebum, the oily layer which moisturizes the scalp. The market now offers a huge variety of shampoos giving us a wide spread to choose from based on our requirements like long hair, thick hair, hair fall control, dandruff control etc.
Coming to the product ‘Sunsilk Natural Recharge’ Shampoo and Conditioner, which I came across when I went for my monthly supplies shopping. I was a regular user of the ‘Sunsilk Pink Thick and Long’ Shampoo and Conditioner until I came across this new launch by Sunsilk. I was anyway getting really bored of Sunsilk Pink, so decided to give the new one a try. And I would say I definitely like Natural Recharge at least tad bit more than Thick and long.

My take on Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo and Conditioner:
The shampoo comes in a translucent light green colored plastic bottle with a flip cap which if held across the light allows us to see the quantity of the product left inside.
The shampoo is mild green, sparkly and a little runny whereas the conditioners almost white and a little thicker. The shampoo helps us achieve a clean scalp with just one wash. It produces good lather even with just a small quantity.Almond oil is very hard to get off, but the Sunsilk Natural Recharge effectively gets rid of it in just one wash.
The conditioner comes in an inverted tube also light green in color and a flip cap with a similar fragrance which lingers on even a few hours after washing your hair.
The smell of both the shampoo and conditioner is mild and smells almost fruity which I really enjoy. I have been using this product for almost three weeks now and I have had absolutely no qualms about it. I have had no hair fall and also eliminated the mild dandruff issue I had before (with sunsilk pink drying out my scalp) hence proving the nourishment claim from the ginseng root and oil is true.
The only concern I have with this shampoo is that the volume claims are a little over hyped since all it does is makes my hair a little frizzier than usual. But this can be controlled with the conditioner and the right after was serum.
What I like about Sunsilk Natural Recharge’ Shampoo and Conditioner:
- Smells mild and great.
- Does not contain parabens.
- Contains balancec pH.
- Does make hair stronger.
- Keeps the scalp nourished.
- Rightly priced.
- Travel friendly.
What I don’t like about Sunsilk Natural Recharge Shampoo and Conditioner:
- Contains SLS.
- Abundant and voluminous hair claim might just remain a myth.
Overall verdict: I really like this shampoo and conditioner, at least much better than what I used before. I would definitely repurchase it.
