My experience with The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream:
This BB cream comes in a tiny green tube with cap-colour coordinated with the shade of the cream. It has flip-top lid and is sturdy.
Shade and Texture:
The cream comes in 3 shades and I picked shade 03. The cream is neither runny nor thick. It is easy to blend. The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream has fragrance of tea-tree oil which is not bothersome as it is mild.
My Take On The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream:
The shade 03 is dark for my skin tone. I was out in the sun since morning and bought it in the evening. My skin tans quickly so I was darker when I went to buy it. At that moment the shade 03 disappeared in my skin but now it makes me look a little darker. To solve the problem, I mix it with SIL’s foundation as she is light-skinned.
I’ve used The Body Shop Tea Tree BB Cream both with and without mixing with a foundation. The cream blends effortlessly to give a dewy finish. It makes skin glow and provides medium coverage. Yes! This BB cream is good for covering blemishes unless they are too dark. I love the dewy finish but I guess that I may need to top it up with a little powder in summers as my skin turns oily easily. In winters, it is just perfect and as I’m not much into foundations, this cream is my friend when I’m going out.
For some weird reason, my hands turn turn dark and dull in winters even after a lot of TLC. When I applied this BB cream at the back of my right hand, it started to look so much better and glowing though it is not that clear in the picture.
The Body Shop Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream photographs nicely as well probably because it has no SPF. It stays on me for about 4-5 hours and does not oxidize.
I believe that this cream will suit all skin types but yes oily skinned girls like me may need to top it up with a face powder in summers.
