The Nature’s Co Red & Green Tea Sunscreen Lotion
So, this is the last product from my May Beauty Wish Box from The Nature’s Co and so I am here to share my thoughts about it.
When I got this sunscreen lotion I was not sure whether I will be actually using a sunscreen or not because I was staying indoors most of the time and had no plans of going out until its night time because of everyone being busy during the day! Moreover, I am not a summer afternoon person at all, I so avoid going out during the summer days unless it is very important.
So lets see how the lotion suited my skin!
About The Nature’s Co Red & Green Tea Sunscreen Lotion

Massage it gently onto your face, neck, hands and other exposed parts of the body at least 30 minutes before going out in the sun
Price– INR 445 for 125ml. I got a 20ml sample size.
Ingredients– Red tea extract, Green tea extract, Olive oil, Vitamin – E, Aloe Vera extract, Sesame oil, Grape seed oil.
Packaging– This sun screen lotion comes in a tube packaging in the retail size as well. It has a flip open cap to make it easy to squeeze the required amount of lotion.
Product Color– The sun screen lotion is a dirty off white creamy lotion and an optimum consistency!
Texture– The cream is not too thick or thin and is evenly applied on the skin without much efforts. It initially feels a little slippery but gets absorbed withing 15-20 seconds of applying it!
Fragrance– The cream has a typical smell of aloe vera extract that I could detect easily. Other than that, I am not sure about the smell. It is not too strong and won’t bother sensitive noses.
My Take– The sun screen lotion is one of the best selling lotions from the brand and I can’t agree more after I stepped out wearing this. It has natural SPF 15 value which is good but not up to the mark. If you are hitting the beach or going out in the sun for long hours then you do need to have a higher SPF count otherwise for daily use SPF 15 is alright as long as you apply it before 15Â minutes and then step out in the sun.
The lotion feels a little slippery immediately upon usage but tends to get absorbed eventually. In humid climate you may not like the sticky feeling but in air conditioned spaces you will feel just comfortable.
It will go about for 2-2.5 hours only and you need to re-apply it again if you are going to be under the sun!
Oily/ combination skin may not like this lotion so much but it will fare well for dry skin easily!
Overall, I think it is a decent sunscreen lotion which protects the skin from the harmful sun rays for a daily use purpose.
What I like about The Nature’s Co Red & Green Tea Sunscreen Lotion:
- Good for daily use
- Keeps the skin moisturized
- Decent SPF 15 count
- Gets absorbed easily
What I don’t like about The Nature’s Co Red & Green Tea Sunscreen Lotion:
- Feels a little sticky
- For long hours of exposure, SPF count is low!
Will I recommend?- Well, yes because it is a decent sunscreen for a regular usage and consists of herbals ingredients which are harmless for the skin!
