Throwback: Stunning Shahid Kapoor Marriage Attires
Finally, after much speculations and yes-yes, no-no-s, Shahid Kapoor got married to Delhi-based girl Mira Rajput. The much talked about wedding of the Bollywood heartthrob and the much younger Delhi girl happened on July 8th this year.
By this time you all know what the couple wore for their wedding and reception. From her simple look at the pheras to her dinner get-up, Mira looked every inch the gorgeous bride. The diva was styled by celebrity stylist Alpa Khimani, who is known for styling fashionistas like Sonam Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan.

Mira Rajput’s friends hosted a bridal shower for would be Mrs. Kapoor at her Chattarpur Farms. The cute, chirpy 21 year old Mira wore an off-shoulder dress which matched her bubbly nature pretty well.
Looking stunning in an Anamika Khanna yellow lehenga, Mira matched steps with the heartthrob, who was wearing a maroon-red and black kurta-churidaar topped with a Nehru jacket. Mira’s ensemble comprised of the lemon yellow lehenga with golden work, that she paired with a golden choli and a sheer yellow duppatta. She wore a maang tikka, and a set of a simple necklace and a pair of earrings to complete the look.
Shahid and Mira’s wedding look was as simple as it gets but the couple looked cute nevertheless. Mira wore a pista-green churidaar-gold kameez and a pista green dupatta which had a broad pink border with intricate golden work. Shahid wore a simple and elegant white kurta-churidaar. He also sported a sunny yellow and baby pink saafa that was in sync with Mira’s dress. Interestingly, Mira sported the same maang tika during all the three ceremonies.
First Public Appearance Post Wedding
The newlyweds were a vision in their color coordinated outfits at the post-wedding party held at The Oberoi. The couple cut a pretty picture as they made their entry at the venue, hand-in-hand. The bride looked as pretty and fresh as a daisy in the Anamika Khanna ensemble. The baby pink color complemented the blush on Mira’s face. She opted for the double duppatta look as she draped one as pleats around herself and the other covered her head. For the jewelery, she sported a chunky navratan neck piece and earring set. Mira chose to pair aÂ maang tika with a jhumar, pretty interesting. Shahid’s attire was completely in sync with his bride’s. The groom wore Kunal Rawal’s off-white bandhgala sherwani with intricate details in geometric shapes embroidered all over. Picture Perfect!
Dinner Party at Oberoi, Gurgaon
Shahid Kapoor looked dapper in a black bandhgala suit. Complimenting him was his wife Mira, who looked gorgeous in an embellished white with tan and silver work Anamika Khanna gown. She completed with diamond neck-piece-earring set.
Newlyweds arrive in Mumbai
Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput reached Mumbai the next evening. Spotted at the airport, Shahid looked dapper in a white shirt and blue jeans. Mira was dressed in a black and white outfit by Masaba Gupta. She matched her dress with peachy pink jootis.
The couple held hands and appeared in front of the shutterbugs and posed together, the newlyweds couple looked so stunning together and so in love. Shahid Kapoor looked super handsome in a black tuxedo and Mira Rajput looked stunning in a Manish Malhotra white lehenga with blue embroidered work. She chose to wear designer Kundan jewelry.
