Foods for healthy skin
No matter how many creams and cosmetics we use our skin will glow only when we have a healthy life style.After all we are what we what we eat. There was a time when pizza and burger were my staple food.I was not only over weight but my skin was in pathetic condition too.The worst thing was the feeling of not being beautiful always revolved in my mind.We at Wise She have shared many tips for glowing skin but all those can only work when our lifestyle is healthy.So today I thought of writing about food for glowing skin. Remember the most basic skin care begins when we start eating right.
Here goes the list of Top five fruits which make your skin glow
1.Red Peppers– Red peppers are called as a super food for glowing skin as it is loaded with Vitamins A, C and E.The easiest way to eat this is by chopping it up and using it raw in your green salad.Tastes good and it brighten up the salad too.Having crushed red pepper also helps the skin in glowing.
2.Grapefruit – Grapefruit has antioxidants which helps in fighting with all kinds of diseases.It prevents infection, cancer and of course it is one of the most recommended fat burning fruit.Grapefruit seeds extract and grapefruit diet is highly recommended to those who want to lose weight.Apart from these benefits Grapefruit extract imparts glow to the skin too.
3.Lemon water– Lemon water benefits is known to many of us.Having lemon water boosts the effect our workout and helps in reducing weight.
4. Watermelon- Having watermelon in solid or juice form protects the skin from the harmful rays of the sun.It has a powerful antioxidant which boost our immunity system and keeps us hydrated all the time which result in glowing skin.
5.Cherries– University of Michigan have researched and claimed that anthocyanins in dark cherries reduce belly fat and lower cholesterol and blood sugar.This I came to know few months back only and I was so happy to read it because I just love cherries
Beside these Black grapes, Broccoli (have to learn to include this vegetable more in my diet), Carrots, Cherries, Papaya and peas too imparts glow to the skin.
