Most of us think that we need to lose weight and we are always looking for quick ways to lose weight and if not quick then the easiest way to lose weight.But how many of us actually succeed in it? We all want to, try to and still can not lose weight.Recently the gym where I use to goÂ the owner told me that she just can’t lose weight.If she controls her diet a bit then she manages to lose 1 or 2 kg but afterward when she is back with her same routine she gains that 1 or 2 kg again.
This made me think that she is a woman who has her own gym and a fitness instructor.She exercise regularly (at least more than me) and still she can not lose weight.Isn’t it surprising? Well not really because we woman always talks the same.:D.
I am listing down some of our habits which do not let most of us not lose weight.
1.We have a habit of thinking and thinking and I think I should add one more think to it to this thinking :D.We think so much and plan to follow so many diet plans or fitness tips.But how many of us actually follow them for even a month.I guess very few.Initially the craze is there which a blabber mouth like me will tell every one that I am following this tip but after a week the motivation dies down and I am back to the square one position.
Recently I did yoga for a week .I told my father in law , my father and my friends too about it .”See I am following yoga nowadays” but after a week I left it and every body thought I am still following it.
2.We know to get in shape we have to work hard .We need to investÂ time and energy to get back our body in shape.This means we need a balance of medium-high intensity cardio exercises with challenging strength training work out .If not these then any other method to lose weight but how many of us actually work hard.I have seen woman more interested in talking in the gym or fitness club rather than trying to lose weight.In fact in my previous gym it was like a Kitti party.Woman use to talk about their mother in laws and babies and the instructor use to enjoy the talks with them
May be you are not like that and believe in focusing your work then how many of us are there who actually go to gym at least 4-5 times a week?When I joined my aerobics classes at 6:30 am I don’t even remember when I attended the classes for a week regularly.
3.We know if we have early dinners we can control our weight but the moment my husband ask me to go out for dinner with him at 9pm I completely forget about this tip and start doing my make up:P.Well though we both are not fond of eating much outside but still we do go our at least 3-4 times a month.
4.Its 2:43 am right now and I am writing about weight .Well I have heard that lack of sleep do contribute weight gain.According to a research woman who sleep five hours a night were more likely to gain weight than woman who sleep seven hours a night.So do I need to say more why I am not losing weight?
5. Lack of sleep can contribute to weight gain, though experts aren’t exactly sure why. Women who sleep 5 hours a night were more likely to gain weight than women who slept 7 hours a night.
6.I and my husband live alone and end up eating silly during the weekend.This is because there is no one to keep a watch on us.But this really hurts the weight loss goals.Even if I follow good diet during the week I have noticed that I blow it out during the weekend.The trick is to plan out my indulgence and have some fun while still staying on the track with my weight loss goals but how many of us do that?
7.Many of us reward our self with food.I like to reward myself if I am eating all healthy during the week but I some time I have rewarded my self with a triple sundae:P.Can u beat that?Having a veg subway without mayonnaise is a better idea but do we follow it?
