Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick Sheer Walk Of Shame Sample
I am here with the last lipstick sample from Urban Decay Lipstick sample kit I received from Anamika! Previously I have tried the shades Sheer Ladyflower, Sheer Shame, Sheer Anarchy and loved them all. This lipstick shade is somehow not that appealing for me and so I am not that fond of the color. Read on further to know more about this lipstick sample.
About Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick Sheer Walk Of Shame
A super creamy lipstick with a sheer, shiny finish and richly pigmented color. Urban Decay’s Sheer Revolution Lipstick is everything you love about the original Revolution lipstick, but with a sheer, shiny finish. Every shade features a rich, creamy feel and a gorgeous, high-shine finish. Like Urban Decay’s original formula, this sheer lipstick hugs lips, sweeping on with an ultra-smooth, budge-free application.
Urban Decay’s Pigment Infusion System gives Sheer Revolution its creamy texture, ultimate color dispersion, and extended wear. Infused with a nourishing blend of oils and antioxidants Maxi-Lip, it defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. Shea butter, jojoba, olive, and babassu oils moisturize and condition, while vitamin C and vitamin E provide a dose of antioxidants.
Price: $22 for 0.09oz. I received it in a lipstick sample.
Shade– The shade Sheer Walk of Shame is mainly a very light nude shade for the pale skin tones and medium fair complexions. It will not suit the deeper dusky complexions and will wash out their skin tones! The sheer finish is lovely but will look good only if you have no lip pigmentation! Those who have slight ark complexion won’t be able to flaunt this lipstick shade comfortably.
Texture- The texture of these sheer revolution lipsticks is quite rich and pigmented. The lipstick is a little sticky upon application. It looks more of a pigmented lip gloss than a lipstick!
First Impressions of Urban Decay Sheer Revolution Lipstick Sheer Walk Of Shame
I loved the rest of the shade from the range except this shade as it is too light for my complexion and tends to wash out completely. Also it is so light that it comes out so untidy on the lips.
I have only swatched the shade on the back of my hand as it didn’t look good at all!
The shade is very milky which makes it difficult to wear. If the shade had been a little transparent with a subtle glossy finish, it could be easily used on top of any pigmented lipstick shade.
The shade may look good on very pale skin tones who have naturally pink lips so as to make this lip color look suitable.
I would not suggest this shade to anyone!
