Vedic Line Aromatherapy Anti- Pigmentation Blend
I am back again with a review of an essential oil I have been using since last month. I wanted to try an essential oil for the face this time so when my hubby went back to sailing I picked it up as I can peacefully apply it on my face without bothering my man with the strange scent of essential oils 😉
About Vedic Line Aromatherapy Anti- Pigmentation Blend-
Reduce pigmentation and blemishes with Vedic Line Anti Pigmentation Blend. This is basically a blend of Rosemary & Bergamot essential oils to reduce pigmentation from the skin and nourishing it intrinsically.
Price- INR 150 for 10ml
Shelf Life- 24 months from mfg. date
Packaging-This anti-pigmentation blend comes a tiny glass bottle with a dropper attached cap to take out the drops of essential oil. The glass bottle is dark blue in color and semi- transparent.
Product color & Texture-The product is transparent and looks like water. The consistency is oil based but it is not sticky or greasy to apply. It gets easily absorbed on the skin in a minute after application.
Fragrance-This anti-pigmentation blend has a strong smell as that of Rosemary (mehndi). It stays on the skin for a while and fades away gradually. People who can’t take strong scents may have issues with this so better don’t try it. I don’t have any problem with strong fragrances so it is okay for me!
My Experience with Vedic Line Aromatherapy Anti- Pigmentation Blend-
This is basically an anti-pigmentation blend but it was actually not my motive behind purchasing it. I wanted to use an essential oil on my face other than almond or olive oil which I have used previously. Well, I used this at night time so that my oily face doesn’t scare away people around me!
When I woke up, my skin felt smooth and oil was nowhere to be seen. Although its fragrance stays for a while but oil gets fully absorbed after 10 minutes of application.
This is not some magical oil but what it does for my skin, I can clearly notice. Lately I had dry patches all over my skin including the t-zone which generally remains a little oily, after using it regularly I see the difference in my skin texture and it is soft and supple now.
For the pigmentation part I really can’t tell anything because one bottle i.e.10ml of product is certainly not sufficient to remove pigmentation it in a month duration.
I have not experienced any breakouts with this essential oil and given the fact that I was also following a proper skincare routine (cleansing, toning & moisturizing) since last month, so that may also be the reason of no breakouts all this while.
What I like about Vedic Line Aromatherapy Anti- Pigmentation Blend?
- Packaging is good although it needs a lot of proper handling
- I like such fragrance, so it is a con for me
- Effectively moisturizes the skin
- Gets quickly absorbed
- Doesn’t give breakouts on normal skin
- Price is reasonable
What I don’t like about Vedic Line Aromatherapy Anti- Pigmentation Blend?
- Strong fragrance may be a possible con for some
- Doesn’t do much for pigmentation
Product Rating- 3.5/5
Will I recommend:-Well, I am not so sure about picking it again but yes it certainly made a lot of difference to my parched skin texture. My skin looks nourished now. I would recommend it to try just as an essential oil if you are cool with oil application on the face. Don’t buy it for the anti-pigmentation function because it would take a long time ( and few more bottles of this to show results!) 🙂
