Himalaya exfoliating Facial Scrub Review  –

A creamy textured Himalaya scrub which is not meant for sensitive skin , works pretty average on normal to combination skin  and makes skin feel soft and smooth 🙂

What the product claims –

Himalaya Herbals Gentle Exfoliating Walnut Scrub gently exfoliates dead skin cells to remove impurities that routine cleansing cannot tackle. It contains Crab Apple, a soothing antiseptic and keratolytic agent to help loosen dead skin fragments, Walnut shell granules to scrub away dirt, blackheads and dead cells and Wheatgerm Oil, a rich source of natural Vitamin E. These natural ingredients cleanse, nourish and moisturize your skin to make it soft, fresh and radiant.

Himalaya Gentle Exfoliating Walnut Scrub

Composition –

Pyrus malus (Apple, Seva) possess antiseptic, cooling, soothing, nutritive and keratolytic properties. It reduces skin inflammation and helps remove dead skin fragments.

Triticum sativum (Wheat, Godhuma) seeds are cooling and oleaginous. Wheat Germ oil is a good source of natural vitamins and prevents loss of moisture from the skin.

Juglans regia (Walnut, Akschota) Its shell acts as exfoliating micro-particles and contains organic acids that are astringent and antiseptic.

How I used it -I used the face scrub twice a week after cleansing my face with Himlaya neem face wash.Took out  adequate  amount of the  scrub and  let it  stay on my  face for about ten minutes. Massaged it gently in circular motion and washed it off.

Scrub is really harsh and if you like fine granules in your scrub  then it might not be liked by you.

What I like about the walnut scrub:-

1.It removes blackheads easily.

2.Deeply cleanse my skin and can be used as a body scrub .

3.Does not dry my skin.

4. Not expensive  and lasts long

Dislikes :-

It has some harsh medicinal fragrance which makes me  wash  it off as soon as the work is done.

Quite harsh and oily skin may find it greasy in summers.
Will I re-purchase – Not really . I don’t like wasting products and managed to get over with it by using it as a body scrub 😛

  2. not even himalaya, be it lotus, everyouth, i have tried many, but all the “walnut / apricot scrub” came out to be harsh for me. :pain: :pain: :pain:
Now i have switched over to synthetic granules wala scrub that has smooth edges and are not rough / harsh to skin..

  3. i ‘ve used a few products from himalaya.. its shampoo, face pack, face washes.
out of which i liked only one face wash (dont remember its name though… it was long back). i am using one Himalaya FW.. i just dont like it n i wash my feet with it to finish it off :chic: :chic:
