Wella SP Repair Shampoo Review

Wella SP Repair Shampoo

There was a time when I had beautiful shiny tresses with good volume. Over the years as studies and other things kept me busy never did I even bother to do something extra for my hair. My mother used to suggest me to go for trimming sessions every few months to keep them in shape but somehow I did not want to compromise with the length too. The results were dry and lack lustre hair although I have never treated my hair with any kind of chemicals. I was thinking of getting my hair smoothened when my friend suggested me this shampoo. Keep reading to explore the product.

My take on Wella SP Repair Shampoo:

Wella System Professional range of products has been a super hit since a long time. I had only heard about these but after having used the shampoo I am ready to stand in the same queue singing praises for this range. As always I take a little shampoo and dilute it before applying it to my scalp and hair. Using my fingers I massage it well and rinse. Most of the times I repeat this process, especially when I have oiled my hair. This foams very appropriately and I get that clean feeling while washing it off. Next I apply my regular conditioner and rinse that off too.

Wella System Professional Repair Shampoo

As it claims to be a repair shampoo for dry and damaged hair like mine, it does seal it that moisture into the locks The best thing about it is that it does not give me buildups which most sulphate based shampoos do it me. The tresses feel so soft and smooth to touch. It adds a kind of bounce plus my hair becomes easy to detangle too. To be truthful, I did not have such high expectations from a shampoo but I am spellbound. Plus it does not weigh down normal hair too. This shampoo might weigh down limp and oily hair so better consult a Wella stylist before making purchase.

The results are visible and it becomes better with every wash. My friend who had suggested me this had got done straightening in the past which affected her tresses very badly. She suffered from a severe hair fall and got her hair got damaged too. According to her this shampoo worked wonders for her by cutting down on that excess hair fall plus by adding life to her hair. Her hairs look much softer and better after a month of having used the shampoo. The quantity required per wash is very little so although the price looks steep yet one bottle would last months.
