My Experience with Wet N Wild Color Icon Lip Liner Willow 712
Packaging– This lip liner is a really long pencil liner and can be easily sharpened using any eyeliner sharpener. The tip is secured by a transparent plastic cap. It shuts tightly and is good for travel purposes.
Shade– The shade Willow is a lovely caramel nude shade which almost looks the same as my skin tone with no pink or brown undertones! The shade is great for all those who love a subtle nude lip color without the “lipstick look!”
Texture– The texture of this lip liner pencil is rich as the tip gets used quickly in a singe use and you need to sharpen it again! The pigmentation is really good and it gives an opaque color in a single swipe. Since the lip liner is not creamy enough it feels a little dry on the lips.
My Take– This lip liner is a perfect everyday shade and looks quite natural when applied on the lips. The lip liner is partially creamy to apply and on the lips it has a semi-matte finish which actually looks quite dry and so a lip bam beneath or a clear transparent lip gloss on the top will definitely give the need moisturization!
Alone the lip liner stays for a good while and easily survives meals and drinks but with a gloss, it tends to transfer on objects and fades a little sooner!
The pigmentation of this lip liner is medium as it almost resembles the natural color of the lips so if anyone who is having dark lips may not find it too opaque so as to hide the darkness of the lips.
The shade is going to look much decent on fair and medium skin tones than the deeper complexions!
Fora daily wear nude lipstick it is certainly a great lip liner to pair with!
