Why Is It Important To Exfoliate The Scalp?

Exfoliation is an integral part of our beauty regimens. We love to exfoliate our face and body. Our heels need extra scrubbing and we do that as well. One important part that we miss is our scalp.

I know that you shampoo your hair regularly and enjoy the clean feeling but you can make your scalp squeaky clean if you scrub it a little. Scalp exfoliation is more than regular massages and shampooing.

Benefits Of Scalp Exfoliation

The most well-known benefit of exfoliation is removal of dead skin and it applies for scalp as well. When dead cells are gone, the clogged pores open up. You do not realize but traces of styling products remain on scalp even after washing your hair. Scalp exfoliation removes any such built-up that can make hair dull and fragile. A cleaner scalp absorbs nourishment in a much better way.

The breathability of skin increases and so does circulation. Better blood circulation makes hair stronger and reduces hair-fall too. As added advantages of scalp exfoliation, you get rid of dandruff flakes and scalp acne.
