Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Volupte Lip Gloss Rose Orfevre N19
Hello WiseShe Beauties,
Today I am here with yet another lip gloss from the YSL Gloss Volupte Lip gloss sample I received in my haul last July! Well, this time I am reviewing yet another sheer lip gloss shade and it appears not so appealing to me as the Terriblement Fuchsia N 49.

About Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Volupte Lip Gloss Rose Orfevre N19
A made-to-measure customized lip gloss that provides extreme shine, luxurious hydration, and radiant color. Get unbelievable shine without the stickiness. Inspired by a kiss, Gloss Volupté provides up to ten times more shine than a classic gloss. The unique applicator is shaped like a kiss and allows for even application over fuller or finer lips. Mix and match the three top coats to the glosses to achieve different looks and effects from subtle to sultry.
Price– $32 for 0.2 oz. I got a sample of three lip gloss shades.
Packaging: The lip gloss sample comes in a leaflet and has separate sachets for the three different shade. There is a mini sponge doe-foot applicator that comes along with this sample to apply this lip gloss.
Shade– This is a beautiful light warm pink gloss which looks quite peachy. It has subtle golden shimmers finely infused in the gloss which impart a shine when applied on the lips.
Texture: The texture of the lip gloss is very creamy and non-sticky and gives a beautiful glossy finish when applied on the lips.
Fragrance– It has a fruity fragrance as that of a yummy frooti!
First Impressions of Yves Saint Laurent Gloss Volupte Lip Gloss Rose Orfevre N19
The shade looked more of a warm pink peachy lip gloss in the swatch but somehow it came out to be entirely sheer on the lips! Another disappointment is that if you try to layer it, the lip gloss looks milky and doesn’t come out so well!
I can say those who have naturally pink lips can try this shade otherwise it cannot be worn alone. It can surely be applied over a pigmented warm toned lipstick shade and then I guess it will look a little decent.
The shimmers are easily detectable but look decent and not gritty at all! But yes the shimmers need to be removed thoroughly as the lip gloss fades otherwise the lips will have only the shimmers all over!
I liked the pink one more as it looked quite natural on the lips!
